The head office of the Aller Group at Havneholmen in Copenhagen is an impressive edifice. With the harbour as a beautiful backdrop, it is reminiscent of a majestic ship surging forth into the future.
Most steel structures in the building were custom-made by CSK for the purpose, and elements that are normally hidden have been used to make a distinctive contribution to the visual expression in many places.
Inside the building, the steel walkways for the various floors criss-cross the open atrium in the centre of the building. The eight floors are also linked together by staircases that blend into an architectural whole with the walkways.
