Sundmolen 5.05

CSK supplied balconies for 86 apartments on plot 5.05 at Sundmolen in Nordhavn, Copenhagen. The new residential building draws inspiration in part from the typical Copenhagen quadrangle block.

CSK supplied the project with balconies, ground and roof railing, penthouse staircases, sun shades and partitions on rooftop terraces.

Technical characteristics

·    The balconies are designed so that rainwater is fed to a drain.

·    Floors are made of fire-approved sandwich panels, finished with Wimex Nordic Deck composite boards.

·    The railing consists of vertical bars attached to the outside of the balcony beam, glass clamped in a U-shaped rail on top of the beam, with angled handrails, and closed sheet metal at one corner.

·    The bar and glass railing has been made with open corners (there are no balusters at the corners).
